In case you missed it check out the video below.  Our first in a series of programs called Knowing News, to help us all become more informed consumers of the news.  Jan Larson, Professor of Journalism at University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, introduces the principles of journalism based on ideas found in the book The Elements of Journalism. Professor Larson coordinates the Beyond the Headlines project in Eau Claire which strives to connect journalists and the public to achieve better understanding.
